Easter was so fun for us this year. Last year Emily couldn't quite walk yet and didn't know what was going on. At our Annual Cousins Easter Egg Hunt, she didn't really understand what was going on and only got a few eggs that we practically had to put in her basket ourselves. This year she went on 4 egg hunts (over the course of 10 days); we had one for Toddler Group, one for Play Group, one with Trevor's family, and one with my family (the Annual Cousins Easter Egg Hunt). After I showed her that the eggs had candy inside them, she caught on fast. The only problem we had was that she would find an egg and want to eat the candy immediately and stopped looking for other eggs. But by the time we had the Cousin's Egg Hunt, she was a pro. She got so many eggs we actually ended up giving them to the other kids because we didn't need anymore candy at our house. But she thoroughly enjoyed it.
Annie didn't go on any egg hunts. She was sleeping through most of them. I didn't even get a picture of both of them on Easter in their dresses because every time I had a free moment, Annie was asleep. I'll take one the next time they wear them. As you can imagine, they were adorable!
