Trevor ran the Newport Marathon today. He finished in 4:55:28. This is his second marathon. He did a great job, but is a little sore tonight. My brother's wife, Sarah also ran the marathon. This is her first and she finished in 4:34! I think they are both a little crazy!
This race was really fun for us as spectators because we could drive along the race course. We would get to a spot and wait for Sarah and Trevor to pass by and then pile back in the car (with all the kids) and drive a little further up the road to do it all over again. We would honk at them every time we passed by and cheer them on every time we saw them. It was a lot better than just waiting a long time to only see them once.
Leaving in the morning for the race.
Running past our hotel. This is about 20 minutes into the race.
A little over 16 miles into it. Still doing good.
19 1/2 miles in. Free oyster shots along the way. Yum!
Ray's van all decked out.
Crossing the Finish Line!
Good job Dad!
Good job Sarah and Trevor!

Amazing. I can't even think about running that long and I'm impressed with anyone who does. Good job to them! I noticed you look so skinny with your two little girls. You always seem to have it all together.
approximately how many people ran that marathon? It doesn't look like a lot.
They capped it off at 900 entries. The road is pretty narrow and can only facilitate so many people.
I'm glad the sun was shining for them! Yippee for Sarah and Trevor!
Great job Trevor, but I think your crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That's great! I love all the family support too! Great job!
Hey I emailed you awhile ago, but didn't hear back. Do you have the same email? I wanted you to come to the splash pad with me....
