Annie

This post is all about Annie.  Annie is 6 months old now and is such a joy to have in our family.  The girl is never unhappy.  We are always amazed at how easy going she is.  She smiles at everyone and loves to laugh.  She is SUPER ticklish until she gets the hiccups and then she is done.  It's pretty fun to get her going.

I found her tickle spot.  So fun!

Bath Time
Annie FINALLY started sleeping without being swaddled.  It was getting to be really hard to swaddle a 4 month old baby.  She was just getting too strong and would escape.  I double swaddled her to keep her from escaping and waking up, but I felt bad because it is so hot during the summer.  We left our good swaddling blanket at my sister's in Salt Lake when we got back from our trip and had to use another blanket.  When she woke up from escaping, I let her cry for a bit and then she fell back asleep.  Since then we have been swaddle-free.  Hooray!

As soon as Annie started sleeping unswaddled, she started sleeping on her side because she could finally move!  Within a few days, she learned how to roll over onto her belly and that is how she sleeps now.

Rolling over onto her belly!  She just rolled over the other way for the first time today.  She is all over the place.

Annie is really close to sitting up by herself without falling over.
August 3
You can't tell, but she doesn't really like this.  She's only smiling because she is Annie!

Annie really is such a great baby.  She now sleeps 12 hours at night and takes 2-3 naps during the day.  She is Emily's favorite person and Emily is her favorite person.  They love to play together and smile and laugh with each other.  We love our Annie!

What an angel. I will always remember that she liked me. And that's amazing because babies don't like me. But Annie did. And that made me happy! :)
