Lagoon

Last month we went to Lagoon.  Trevor's work has their store party there every year.  We went once when we were first married.  We decided it might be fun to take Emily so we went this year.

 Can you tell if she is enjoying herself?

 She's not.  I think she was telling me she wanted to get off in this picture.

 It was really hot.

This was the only ride Emily enjoyed.  The train ride was fun, but it was 1 of only 4 rides that we could all go on.  We also went on the Merry-go-Round and she hated it.  Either we were too tall or she was too short to go on all the other rides.  She hated going on the kiddie rides because we couldn't go with her.  She only went on 2.  I tried to get her to go on others but she just cried so I didn't make her.  After lunch, both the girls took a nap in their strollers, so Trevor and I did "baby swap" and rode a few roller coasters.  They were ok.  It's hard to enjoy Lagoon once you've been to Disneyland.

We left the park around 5:30 and headed home.  I was glad we hadn't spent that much money on our tickets; we got a discounted price because it was the store party.  It was a good test run for Disneyland.  We know Emily would not enjoy herself and would be happier if we left her home.  Live and learn.
