Emily is potty trained! Hooray! We have been "dabbling" in potty training for a few months now. We got a potty and she would use it when she wanted to and I would give her a treat. But we were still in diapers and didn't force the issue. A few weeks ago, she woke up in the middle of her nap to go potty. So after that, I put underwear on her. I told her that she was wearing "big girl pants" and that she couldn't pee or poop in them. Since then, she calls her underwear her "Big Girls." We think it's pretty funny. We had about 4 or 5 days of frustration, sometimes she would go in the potty and sometimes she would tell me she had to go potty and then pee in her pants. I was hating potty training by Day 2. Then one day, she just stopped having accidents. Now we love potty training. We have moved from the small potty to the regular potty and she likes to "Go potty self" (Go potty by myself) and doesn't want any help. It's fabulous!
We recently bought some bunk beds off Craigslist. It's something we are going to need in the future so I have been keeping my eyes open for the perfect find. I finally found it. We got this super cute set (with mattresses) for a great deal. We love the way their room looks now!
Two Stinkbugs
This is as far as she has climbed so far. She started out only going about 2 steps up, then 3, then 4, etc. Every time she gets as far as she is going to go and then says "I'm going to fall" and then climbs down.
She is CRAZY about bubbles. She carries them all over the house all day long.
Sneaking a sip of Dad's "juice." She loves this stuff. We can't give her just one sip. Once she starts, she wants the whole thing. We rarely let her have any just to avoid this problem
